Crossrope Size Guide

Not sure what jump rope size is right for you? No problem. We’re here to give you some guidance on how to properly size your jump rope so you get the best jump rope workout experience possible.

*Please note: these charts are for reference ONLY based on aggregated data. This data is reviewed periodically and adjusted accordingly. Fit may vary depending on the form, use of ropes, and experience.

WHAT IF I AM BETWEEN SIZES?

If you happen to fall in-between two sizes, we recommend using the following guidelines: If you’re new to jump rope training and have never jumped before, go with the longer option. This will give you more room for error as you’re learning. If you already have experience with jumping or you’re generally well-coordinated, then it really comes down to personal preference. If you want to maximize the speed of your jumping, go with the shorter option. If you generally enjoy jumping with a longer rope for tricks and freestyle jumping, go with the longer option.

WHAT IF I ALREADY OWN A JUMP ROPE?

Great! Just measure the length of your rope between the handles and choose the Crossrope length that is closest to that from the chart above.

DOES IT MATTER IF MY ARMS OR LONG OR SHORT?

No. Arm length does not change the appropriate size recommendation. For proper hand positioning, your hands should be at hip height, about 8″-12″ from your body on each side. If you have longer arms, try bending at the elbows a bit more to keep your hands in the proper location, but you should NOT get a longer rope.

DOES THE LENGTH INCLUDE THE HANDLES?

No. The measured length only accounts for the distance between handles (including the rope and clips).
